Annual Report

Each year the the Annual Town Meeting must be held.

This meeting is not a meeting of the Town Council - it is a meeting of the town - every (civil) parish in England must have a parish meeting (see s9 (1) of the Local Government Act 1972) and in Godalming that meeting is known as the Annual Town Meeting and it is held every April.

In 2010 the Annual Town Meeting will be held at 8pm on Thursday 15 April 2010 in Waverley Borough Council's council chamber above the Borough Hall on Bridge Street, Godalming.

All Godalming's residents are welcome to attend and anyone who is on the electoral roll for Godalming can speak and vote at the meeting.

The meeting will chaired by the Town Mayor Councillor JM Poulter and she will take the opportunity to present an annual report of the Town Council's activity over the last year (2009/10).
