No petitions/statements/questions had been received from members of the public in accordance with Standing Order No 79.
143-08 DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL AND PREJUDICIAL INTERESTS
Councillor PJ Martin declared a personal and prejudicial interest, on the grounds that his son Councillor T Martin lives in close proximity to both properties, in Agenda Item 5 Schedule Nos 1 & 10 ( WA/2008/1210 & WA/2008/1309). Councillor PJ Martin left the Chamber when those agenda items were debated.
Councillor P Martin declared a further personal interest, on the grounds that the applicant is known to him, in Agenda Item 5 Schedule No 9 ( WA/2008/1282) and remained in the Chamber when that item was debated.
Councillor GS Barnes declared a personal and prejudicial interest, on the grounds that a next- door neighbour is a friend, in Agenda Item 5 Schedule No 5 ( WA/2008/1228) and left the Chamber when that agenda item was debated.
Councillor CM Gordon-Smith declared a personal interest, on the grounds that the applicant is known to her, in Agenda Item 5 Schedule No 9 ( WA/2008/1282) and remained in the Chamber when that item was debated.
Councillor T Martin declared a personal and prejudicial interest, on the grounds of proximity to his home, in Agenda Item 5 Schedule Nos 1 & 10 ( WA/2008/1210 & WA/2008/1309). Councillor T Martin left the Chamber when those agenda items were debated.
Councillor T Martin declared a further personal interest, on the grounds that the applicant is known to him, in Agenda Item 5 Schedule No 9 ( WA/2008/1282) and remained in the Chamber when that item was debated.
The comments and observations from the following Waverley Borough Councillors were preliminary ones prior to consideration at Borough Council level and were based on the evidence and representations to the Town Council.
