MR Goodridge

MR Goodridge served as a councillor until May 3 2007.

Michael Goodridge is the senior partner of a local firm of Solicitors, and was first elected to the Council in November, 1973, as a Conservative. He is a past Mayor of the Town, as well as of Waverley Borough Council. He has a great interest in education, and is currently a Governor of two schools, as well as Godalming College, where his involvement resulted in the award of the MBE in 2004. Being born and bred in the town, he is passionately concerned in improving the services and facilities for the people of Godalming. He is a former President of The Conservatives in S.W. Surrey. Current positions include Chairman Godalming Music Festival, Chairman of Godalming Citizens Advice Bureau, President of Godalming Band, Vice-President of Godalming Theatre Group, Vice-President Holloway Hill Bowling Club.
